Syracuse 2023 Call for Papers

The Johannine Literature research unit will host two sessions at the 2023 conference:

  1. For the open session we invite proposals on topics relevant to the unit’s focus on the Gospel and Letters of John.

  2. For the other session invited speakers will consider a range of topics and issues relating to theo-logy, a growing field in New Testament scholarship that focuses on the subject of God the Father in the New Testament writings. The session will be an opportunity for the theocentric character of the Gospel of John and the First Letter of John to be explored from a variety of perspectives.
