EABS 2015 meeting took place in Cordoba, Spain, July 12-15, 2015.
The meeting began on Sunday evening at 7 pm with the Opening Session followed by a reception. The work of the research units of the EABS meetings ran from Monday morning until Wednesday evening. The programme mainly consisted of ca. 10 parallel seminar or workshop sessions. A work day consisted of a morning session (8:30-11:00), an afternoon session (2:00-4:30) and an evening session (5:00-7:30). There were a number of plenary sessions before lunch.
The meeting included a business meeting for the members and a meeting of the Graduate Student Network with the election of a new student representative. Paraskevi Arapoglou was voted new Student Representative.
At EABS meetings lunches are taken together. They are included in the registration fee, the option of vegetarian and kosher meals was available.
There was a plentiful sightseeing programme, e.g., visits to the Mezquita-Cathedral and day trips to Sevilla and Granada on the days following the conference. Sightseeing tours for accompanying persons were available during the day.
As every year, the EABS awarded two student paper prizes, each worth €250. Eligible are those student members who have had an abstract accepted at the 2015 EABS Annual Meeting. In order to enter the competition, the full paper had to be submitted by late May.
